About us
The story of Quarto began in 1997 in Myanmar. The company started as a food supplier for local hotels in Yangon but soon expanded to serve the growing need for high quality wines in the region. The administration office was founded in Singapore in 1997 followed by 2 new offices established in China and Cambodia by 2004. In 2009, the Singaporean administration office was expanded into a wholesale distribution center, now offering some of Quarto's wines to local Singaporean customers.
By 2002 Quarto Singapore was not only handling administrative tasks but acted as a central distribution hub for the companies around South-East Asian network. Today incoming shipments reach Quarto Singapore by container from Europe, Australia, NZ, South Africa, and South America for further distribution to other companies in China, Cambodia and Myanmar.
