QP Butchery & Processed Meat
Quarto Products expanded its Fine Food line up early May 2011 by creating an on-site butchery at our Bayint Naung Lane location. Previously, Quarto Products imported sausages and cold cuts by air, but Managing Director Renato Buhlmann had a vision to create a quality Western Style Butchery operation in Myanmar.
The Myanmar people like sausages, but due to product availability they’re unfamiliar with the many types. Currently, the butchery produces 8 different sausages, streaky bacon, and 4 types of cold cuts. The initial focus of the butchery was to serve the on-trade market masses with good quality sausages and cold cuts at affordable pricing. Although in its infant stage of production, variety and Taylor-made products will be a focus in the future with a goal of 30+ offerings by the end of 2012.
The Quarto Products Shop on Bayint Naung Lane and NEW QP Shop location at 30 Inya Road at the moment are the only places where our products are available. However, future planning, attractive packaging, fair pricing, and a variety of products will put our butchery products on supermarket shelves. Until then try our sausage products in use at industry leaders such as Traders Hotel, 50th Street Bar and Grill, Kandawgyi Palace, The Governor’s Residence, MiCasa Hotel, Savoy Hotel, Parkroyal Hotel, Bayview Resort Ngapali Beach, and The Strand.
